When I arrived in Sheridan earlier this week, I was surprised to find out that my room had a kitchenette. I'm not sure if this was something I saw online before and forgot or if this was some sort of mix up. Either way, how exciting!
When I went to the store, I was so excited to not eat microwaveable or sandwiched meals. I began looking into trying my hand at "one skillet" meals. I bought supplies for some good home cooked meals. In fact, I bought too many supplies. My eyes were bigger than my stomach! I ended up buying food for 3 meals too many. Which doesn't sound like a problem except, now as I prepare to leave, I have to figure out what to do with all the food. My cooler (and next fridge) is not very big. I could go buy a second cooler to transport my smorgasbord of dining options, but that doesn't help me get it to fit in the mini fridge at the next hotel and ice only lasts so long.
I'm currently wallowing in my poor decision making and am wondering if this is what Tom Hanks' character felt like after coming back from being stranded on an island in Cast Away. Too many options!
